MPD Welcomes New Officers
The Morristown Police Department welcomes four new police officers. On Monday, four new officers started their training with the Morristown Police Department, being sworn in by City Judge Matt Sexton Monday afternoon.
Three of the four officers are already certified with several years of experience. The fourth will continue his training with MPD officers and then start at the Walters State Basic Police Academy in October.
Earlier this month, Officer David Gulley, a former MPD officer was rehired and assumed his patrol duties.
