Due to current CDC recommendations to avoid crowding to help stop the spread of coronavirus, the Morristown Police Department will offer email service for obtaining crash reports. If you need a copy of a report for a crash you were involved in that was filed with MPD you may email firstname.lastname@example.org with the following information: copy or photo of your driver’s license or ID, date of the crash, the case number (if you have it) along with the last name of the driver involved and our records division will email back a PDF copy of the report. There is no charge for this service.
Crash reports may also be purchased online through The Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security through their portal at www.PurchaseTNcrash.gov .
