DET. LT. VICKI ARNOLD RETIRES FROM MPD

Lieutenant Arnold began her career with the MPD in 1988 as a patrol officer. While on patrol, she was a field training officer and school resource officer. As a school resource officer she participated in D.A.R.E and G.R.E.A.T. Both programs focused on keeping kids off illicit drugs. After 10 years on patrol, she was promoted to detective where she was on the Crimes Against Persons Squad.
The majority of Lieutenant Arnold’s 34 year career was spent in the Investigations Division. Serving in this position allowed Lieutenant Arnold to be the Juvenile Services officer and training officer for new investigators, as well as serve on the Child Abuse Sexual Exploitation and homicide teams. “The best part of my career was working with an amazing group of people. They made me a better officer and person” stated Arnold.
Now that she is officially retired, Lieutenant Arnold wants to travel, train her puppy and just enjoy her family.
