The redemption period on these properties have run and the City has declared these properties surplus. The City is now solicitating offers to purchase these properties in the form of sealed bids. Written offers to purchase, including the bidder’s name, address and phone number, shall be submitted in a sealed envelope to the City, via Ashley Ahl, P.O. Box 1499, Morristown, TN 37816, (423) 585-4622, aahl@mymorristown.com. The property address/description must be listed on the outside of the envelope. Offers to purchase will be open until 2:00 p.m. on March 1, 2021, at which point the sealed offers will be publicly opened at the City Center Training room. The offers will be submitted to City Council for acceptance at the March 16, 2021 City Council meeting.
