The Special Response Team provides support at high-risk incidents, including drug raids, warrant service, barricaded suspects and hostage situations. All members of the Special Response Team receive continuous training on a range of knowledge, skills, and abilities that are needed to provide the services required of the team. The Morristown Police Department’s Special Response Team is recognized as a Regional Response Team by the Council on Homeland Security.
