The Lakeway Area Metropolitan Planning Organization(LAMTPO) was developed as a joint effort of Morristown, Jefferson City, White Pine, and portions of Hamblen County and Jefferson County. This organization combines their resources and designated federal funding to ensure that existing and future expenditures for transportation projects and programs were based on a comprehensive, cooperative, and continuing planning process.
