The Patrol Division is comprised of three captains, lieutenants, and sergeants; and fourty three police officers. The Patrol Division is an important componant of the organization, and is often referred to as the "backbone" of the department. Patrol units are on the street to serve and protect the community, and serve as ambassadors to the community. The patrol officer's helpfulness, attitudes, and timely response to incidents continues to develop a positive relationship between the citizens of the community and the Morristown Police Department. The Patrol Division continues to place a strong emphasis on community involvement and ensuring the quality of law enforcement services provided are of the highest standard.


It is the Patrol Division's mission to protect the rights of persons within the department's jurisdictional limits to be free from criminal attack, to be secure in their possessions, and to live in peace.
